Arriving in the UKWe welcome you at the airport, in person, with a durable plastic case containing your travel tickets, timesheets, a UK SIM card for your mobile phone, an identity badge and useful information on your chosen placement. We'll take you to your place of work or to the nearest train station, give you advice about travelling and answer any questions you have.
All the necessary arrangementsIt can be confusing dealing with an unfamiliar overseas administrative system. So you don't have to. We organise your General Medical Council registration and other necessary documentation. You hand your documents to your local office or representative and we take care of the rest.
Bank accountWe can help you to open an offshore bank account with Barclays Bank. Simply request an application form and we'll include it in your welcome pack. If you apply for an account on arrival in the UK it will be open and ready for us to deposit your first week's salary. You will need to take the following into a UK Branch of Barclays:
